Welcome to Whitemoor Medical Centre

Here at Whitemoor Medical Centre we believe in delivering high quality patient-centred care in the ever changing climate of the modern NHS.

The practice was originally set up in a small stone building in Green Lane in the centre of Belper town. The practice relocated to the new premises on Whitemoor Lane in 2008. We are fortunate to be located in a modern, spacious and purpose built building with ample free parking facilities.

 Our practice area

Belper is a small, attractive market town, situated in the Derwent Valley, Derbyshire, 8 miles north of Derby. It is part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site, hosting the traditional mill and beautiful River Gardens in the centre of town. We are also just a stone's throw away from the renowned Derbyshire Peak District.

Belper's population is now around 20,000 and growing. It is a popular and attractive place to live. New estates have been built up to accommodate its expansion. The age distribution of our patients is similar to the general population.

Get Well, Keep Well

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
